Knowledge transfer and workshops
The knowledge of our employees is our most valuable asset. In addition to technical and soft-skills courses, we also offer regular language courses. We increasingly make use of e-learning, thus promoting cross-location training. Sharing of information and ideas is supported by monthly online meetings during which different departments present their projects or helpful working methods.
Onboarding
New employees are paired with a mentor to make their start with us easier, and all important information relating to onboarding is provided in a welcome bag and a personal email. Several times a year, we invite new employees to a cross-location induction day, enabling them to discuss issues, to learn and to get to know each other better. The onboarding process concludes with "365 days at IL", during which we reflect on the first year together and share our experiences.
Mentoring
It is important to us that all employees have the opportunity to fulfil their work responsibilities with passion, enjoyment and a sense of responsibility while also achieving ongoing personal development. Our mentoring programmes support both internal and external pairings, helping them to find each other and to work together. The focus is on benefitting from the experience of others and developing skills.
IL Academy
With the IL Academy, we consolidate and optimise knowledge transfer within the company. In this context, we organise tailored training opportunities promoting the individual development of our employees.
