Work/life harmony
Flexible working time models, mobile working, long-term working-time accounts (e.g. for sabbatical or semi-retirement), parent-child office at our Rostock and Freiburg locations
Family-friendly
We attach great importance to the compatibility of work, family and private life. Our employees benefit from a regular working week of 38 hours as well as flexible working conditions such as flexitime and working-time. Equal opportunities and responsibility are key aspects of our corporate culture. As a result, we participate in the "compatibility progress index" of Germany’s federal ministry for family affairs. Our Rostock and Freiburg locations also provide a parent-child office to help staff address childcare challenges while also meeting their professional obligations.
Vacation time and special leave
Our employees receive 30 days of vacation per year. For certain occasions such as marriage, the birth of a child or moving home, employees receive additional paid leave. And each year, December 24th is a further work-free day.
Mobile working
We offer our employees flexible working hours and the opportunity to work remotely for up to two workdays per week. This flexibility to work from a location other than the contractually agreed one facilitates work-life balance and makes it easier to care for family members.
Long-term working-time accounts
Our company’s introduction of long-term working-time accounts enables employees to finance special periods of leave – e.g. for sabbaticals, to care for relatives, or to reduce their working hours before reaching statutory retirement age. Employees can build up a credit on their working-time account for such purposes.
